Morrissey of Winston Salem, North Carolina, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away at the age of 92, on May 2, 2024. As Margaret departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Margaret may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Margaret leaves behind.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Esther G. Fitzgibbon (George) and Wilfred Fitzgibbon. She is survived by : her spouse Blaise Morrissey, Jr.; her children, Blaise Morrissey, III and Elizabeth Proctor; and her grandson Ian Proctor.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, July 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Bernard Church (275 Tower Hill Rd, North Kingstown, RI 02852).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Margaret M. Morrissey to Hopehealth Hospice Care of Rhode Island, 1085 North Main St., Providence RI 02904.
