She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Gray Welch Hairston and George Hairston of Walnut Cove, NC.; and her siblings, Joann Welch and Leonard Hairston of Walnut Cove, NC.. She is survived by: her daughter Cynthia Welch of Walnut Cove, NC; her brother John Webb, Jr. of Winston Salem, NC; her grandchildren, Kelvin Lyon Welch (Michele) of Walnut Cove, NC, Jerry Welch of Walnut Cove, NC, Amanda Welch of Walnut Cove, NC, Kevin Welch (Jerri Lynn) of Walkertown, NC and Deatrice Morale of Winston Salem, NC; her aunt Barbara; and her nieces, Phyllis Artis (Camice) of Walnut Cove, NC and Willie Mae Kellam (Calvin) of Madison, NC. She is also survived by five great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren.
