He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward C McKone and Esther McKone; his wife Marjorie Wahlberg; and his daughter-in-law Kimberly Whitt McKone. He is survived by: his daughter Kelly McKone Ghassemian; his son-in-law Morad of Oak Park, IL; his son Mark McKone; his grandson Matthew of Jamestown, NC; and his brother-in-law Charles Wahlberg of Burnsville, MN..
