He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Louise Scarlett of Avery County, NC, Nona Jean Scarlett and Daniel Lee Scarlett; his siblings, Ronald Scarlett of Davidson County, NC, Keith Scarlett of Davidson County, NC and Laura Smith (Doug) of Davidson County, NC; his grandchildren, Grace Scarlett, Abraham Scarlett, Khole Morales, Clara Morales and Cassidy Morales; and his close friend Dale Kindley of Lexington.
