It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willie Andrews Jr. of Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on June 4, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Andrews, and Minnie Fortune Andrews, Sr.; his wife Carolyn Ann Andrews; and his brothers, Luvern and Harry Andrews.
He is survived by: his children, Reginald Antoinio Thompson, Deborah Andrews Farrington (Leo), Willette Andrews, Willie Andrews, III and Terry Andrews; his grandchildren, Leo Andrews, Krystal Farrington, Brannon Farrington, Alasha Ingram and Tasiana Andrews; his great grandchildren, Jeleel Robinson, Ka'Niyah Fraizer, Kyrah Frazier, Elijah McCoy and Annaliyah Farrington; and his sisters, Christine McDonald, Ella Mae Laws, Thomasenia Kennedy and Rosemary Michaels. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Roberts Funeral Service (3001 Old Greensboro Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27101). Visitation was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Solid Rock Missionary Baptist Church (3010 Carver School Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27105). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at the Evergreen Cemetery (2124 New Walkertown Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27101).
