He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Love Broadwaters and Herman Leslie Day; and his brother William Thomas Day. He is survived by: his children, Heather Day Jackson (Bruce) and Kevin Michael Day (Pamela); his wife Gayle Smith Day; and his grandsons, Tommy and Joey.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Service & Crematory (605 Country Club Dr, Greenville, NC 27834).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Tony's honor to the Winterville Community Fire Department, a place that meant so much to him.
