With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Connie S. Meads of Woodland, North Carolina, born in Annapolis, Maryland, who passed away on June 22, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Claude Clifton Locke, Jr. and Belauh Allen Locke. She is survived by : her husband David A. Meads; her children, Brandy L. Brutsch (Juan) of Fayetteville, NC and Derek A. Meads of Hertford, NC; her sister Cheryl Colson of Elizabeth City, NC; her sisters-in-law, Sharon Weitzel and Rebecca Spear; her grandchildren, Gavin D. Herring, Isabella G. Brutsch and Micah D. Brutsch; her nephews, Cliff Colson, Glen Colson and Bo Spear; and her niece Michelle Hudson.
Following the service, in compliance with Covid-19, the family will receive visitors outside of the funeral home under the canopy.
