With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Darch (Woodland, North Carolina), who passed away on February 28, 2019 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Elfreida Elizabeth Kolbe and Fredrich Darch; his wife Helen; his sister Martha Hisey of Bellevue, Washington; and his children, Douglas (Karen) of Barrington, Illinois, Lee (Wake Forest), Ted (Georgia), David Winthrop (Carrie), Laura (Wake Forest) and Glen (Louisburg). He was also cherished by sixteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
