He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parent Sidney Nesmith, Sr.; his wife Rachel Nesmith; his children, Sidney Nesmith, III of Newport News, VA, Nicole C. Nesmith of Emporia, VA and Kimberly Nesmith of Rich Square, NC; his mother Marilyn J. Nesmith-Holmes of Newport News, VA; and his siblings, Gerald Nesmith of New Bern, NC, Gwendolyn Nesmith of Newport News, VA, Kathy Nichols of Hampton, VA and Lisa Weatherford of Sacramento, CA. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
