He is survived by : his wife Janice Harrell of Gates County; his sons, Wade Harrell Brown (Paige) of Fuquay Varina and Walter Jay Brown, IV (Adrianne) of Apex; his stepchildren, Glenn Douglas Lilley (Martha) of Gatesville and Jennifer Lilley Paris of Cape Carteret; his grandchildren, Catherine Lilley McLean, Dustin of Reidsville, Amanda Lilley Teachey (Carl) of Winston-Salem, Parker Galloway of Newport News, VA and Lindy Brown of Fuquay Varina; his great grandchild Corbin McLean of Reidsville; his brother Matthew Howard Brown (Carol) of Hilton Head, SC; and his niece Elizabeth Brown of Los Angeles, CA..
