She was predeceased by : her parents, William Arthur and Levora Atkins Chappell; her husband Thomas Hampton "Drake" Pardue; her brother Luther; and her sister-in-law Phyllis Chappell.

She is survived by : her son David Pardue (Donna) of Clemmons; her grandsons, Alex Pardue of Charlotte and Adam Pardue of Mt. Pleasant, SC; her niece Kim C. McCart (Tim) of Holly Ridge; her nephew Ronnie Pardue (Kathy) of Kernersville; and her caregiver Janis Osborne.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Boonville Community Library or Boonville Baptist Church.
