He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruffin McKinley Haynes and Sarah Sophronia Groce Haynes; his daughter Robin Haynes; and his siblings, Myrtle Haynes Shore, Gladys Haynes Wagoner, Sadie Haynes Speer, Dorothy Haynes Wooten, Connie Haynes Carlton, Tom Haynes and Jack Haynes.
He is survived by: his children, Ricky Haynes, Roxanne Johnson, Leigh Matthews (Gary) and Tommy Haynes (Gale); his grandchildren, Brooke Stanley (Chris), Nikki Broussard (Adam), Zack Matthews (Kayla) and Cary Anne Matthews; and his great grandchildren, Dylan Johnson, Max Stanley, Grant Broussard, Harrison Broussard, Maylee Matthews, Jovie Matthews and Harlow Matthews.
