She was predeceased by: her parents, Houston Thomas Davis and Daisy Shermer Davis. She is survived by: her husband John Lewis McKnight, Sr.; her children, Susan McKnight Welch (David) of Lexington, SC and John Lewis McKnight, Jr. (Heidi) of Mint Hill, NC; her grandchildren, Dave Welch (Kim), John Welch (Emily), Michael Welch, Rheanna Burton (Michael) and Laney McKnight (Drew Agans); and her stepgrandchildren, Heather Gregoire and Blake Kirven. She is also survived by two great grandchildren, and one step great granddaughter.
