He was predeceased by: his parents, Numa Coe and Lilly Campbell Coe; his son Jeff Coe; his son-in-law Frank Fowler; and his siblings, Elna Mae Brewer, Charlotte Christie and Rhett Coe.
He is survived by: his children, Van Coe (Kathy), Darryl Coe and Sharon Fowler; his grandchildren, Patricia Hoosier (Jonah), Ethan Coe (Samantha), Jodi Wilmoth (Broz), Cory Fowler and Kayla Fowler (John Muir); his great grandchildren, Jackson, Isabella, Macon Wilmoth and Baby Boyce Hoosier; his sisters, Josie Wingler (Clate) and Phyllis Warden (Lawrence); and his close friend Ollie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
