It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Billy Gene Hutchens (Yadkinville, North Carolina), who passed away on April 11, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William R. Hutchens and Nellie Jane Spillman Hutchens; his wife Jerlean Hutchens; and his siblings, Melvin Hutchens (Jesse), William Hutchens (Annie), Moses Hutchens (Shelby) and Ruby Hutchens.

He is survived by : his son Randy G. Hutchens (Joy); his grandson Kyle Hutchens (Jami); his great grandchildren, Avery, Adalee and Ansley Hutchens; his granddaughter Kristina Bodenheimer (Charlie); his great grandchildren, McKenzie and Matthew Bodenheimer; and his sister Hattie Vestal (George).

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Gentry Family Funeral Service (5108 US-601, Yadkinville, NC 27055). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to YVEDDI Meals on Wheels.
