With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Carol Laws (Yadkinville, North Carolina), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Carol left this world on August 7, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Robert Johnson and Hattie Hanks Johnson; her siblings, Ira Bejamin Johnson, John Lewis Johnson, Barbara Johnson Elledge Prevette and Mary Belle Johnson; and her son Kenneth Ray Reeves.
She is survived by: her husband Tommy Ray; her children, Gloria Mastin (David), Joe Reeves (Phyllis), Angela Blevins (Jerry), Penny Moorefield (Miles) and Crystal Myers (Scott); her brother Roger Johnson (Cheryl); and her sister-in-law Alma Johnson. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Courtney Baptist Church (3341 Courtney Church Rd, Yadkinville, NC 27055). A memorial service was held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House 419 S. Hawthorne Rd. Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
