He was predeceased by : his brother Jackie Haynes; his wife Alma Haynes; his sisters, Linda Snow and Betty Spillman; and his granddaughter Jana Cave.

He is survived by : his children, Tamika Cave (Derek) of Boonville and Avery Haynes (Jinda) of Lone Hickory; his grandsons, Jonathan Cave (Elise), Grayson and Charlesten Haynes; his great grandchildren, Devan McCaskill, Nathan and Jackson Cave; and his brother Junior Haynes (Barbara). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
