He was predeceased by: his parents, Freddie Lee Revels, Sr. and Blanche Locklear Revels; and his brother Ricky Revels. He is survived by: his wife Peggie Harris Revels; his sons, Buddy J. Revels and Richard Revels; and his siblings, Faye Locklear (Larry), Agnes Branch, Betty Spencer (Bobby), Sue Locklear (Billy), Mamie Locklear (Jimmy), Dell Carter (Michael), Ann Locklear (Stanley), Luther Revels (Mildred), Don Revels (Vickey) and Earl Revels (Glenda). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville (5108 US-601, Yadkinville, NC 27055). A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Raeford Town Cemetery.
