He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Epley and Nettie Epley. He is survived by: his wife Carol Hunt Epley; his children, Glenda Myers (Mark), Dean Epley and Paige Hauser (Chris); his grandchildren, Jennifer Foster (Chris), Andrew Myers (Laura), Katie Shanks (Brantley) and Connor Epley; his great grandchild Oaklynn Shanks; and his siblings, Paul Epley (Barbara) and Doris Pickett.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to South Oak Ridge Baptist Church Youth Fund, 1336 Lone Hickory Road, Yadkinville, NC 27055.
