She was predeceased by: her husband Numie Richard Childress; her daughters, Carol Hamm, Gladys Nowlen and Glenda Sidden; her grandson Stephen Richard Lawing; her siblings, Billy Gray Bryant, Dorothy Spicer, Lillian Finney and Pearl Renegar; and her son-in-law Gary Cagle.
She is survived by: her daughters, Phyllis Lawing, Dorothy Cagle and Anita Messick (Joseph); her sister-in-law Margie Bryant; and her sons-in-law, Charlie Hamm and Thomas Sidden. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
