He was predeceased by: his parents, Huston "Bip" McEwen and Dorothy McEwen; and his siblings, Jeanette "Tooty" Hutchens and Jessie "Bud" McEwen. He is survived by: his sons, Justin and Jimmy "Hoss" McEwen (Amy); his sister Sandra "Sis" Sasser; and his grandchildren, Holden, Brianna, Makaila, Grace, Leland, Waylon and Miles.
