He was predeceased by: his parents, Buddy Landon Hayes and Mary Faye Plott Hayes; and his son Michael Landon Hayes. He is survived by: his wife Susan Norman Hayes; his children, Andrea Hayes and Jennifer Souther (Christopher); his grandchildren, Haylee Moore (Charles), Chloe Hayes, Charles Nance, Kayelyn Hayes and Faith Blevins; and his great grandchild Harlee Moore.
