She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Franklin Driver and Lessie Elizabeth Combs Driver; her husband Thomas Thad Murphy; her daughter Donna Jean Rose; and her siblings, Henry, Junior Driver, Albert, Dorothy Weldy and Katie Hollyfield.

She is survived by: her daughter Ann Hutchens (Jerry); her grandchildren, Kendal Hutchens (Tabitha), Angela Hutchens, Thomas Rose and Lorie Rose; her great grandchildren, Alex Hutchens, Savanna Hutchens, Ava Cousart, Kellen Hutchens, Ryan Gordon and Carter Rose; her sisters, Inez Tilley (Ted) and Vickie Taylor (David); her sister-in-law Margaret Driver; her brother C. W. Driver (Gloria); and her son-in-law Tommy Rose of Yadkinville.
