We are sad to announce that on February 13, 2020, at the age of 87, Maxine Ray (Yadkinville, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Guy Myers and Ethel Freeman Myers; her husband Ralph Monroe Ray; her sisters, Virginia Church (Ginger) and Jeanette Swaim; and her brother-in-law Terry Groce.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Casstevens (late Danny), Sherri Wood (Rocky) and Gina Chappell (Jamie); her grandchildren, Brent Casstevens, Amy Mahan, Doug Wood (Jill) and John Wood; her great grandchildren, Wesley, Jarred Mahan, Devin, Bryson, Tyler and Troy Wood; her sister Jonnie Groce; and her brothers-in-law, D. C. Swaim (Joan) and Richard Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 304 State St. Yadkinville, NC 27055 or to the donor's choice.
