He is survived by: his wife Lucy Gardner Swaim; his children, Richie Gardner Swaim, Dee Dee Swaim Cox (Roy) and Destry Allen Swaim (Blythe); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Cox, Cooper Cox, Wheeler Swaim and Rowan Swaim; his brother Ricky Swaim; and his aunts, Sadie Weavil, Mary Lee Swaim and Jeanette Stoneman.
