She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Stokes Butler and Florence Iona Saunders Butler; and her sisters, Brenda Serns, Lois Aldridge, Frances Page, Ruby Swift, Elma Sommers and Alene Paschall.
She is survived by: her son Michael Neal Byrd; and her siblings, Shirley Compton, Naomi Parker and Melvin Butler (Mary). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bush Arbor Primitive Baptist Church (101 Cherry Grove Rd, Yanceyville, NC 27379).
