It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Briggs (Yanceyville, North Carolina), who passed away on July 20, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Webster and L. Raymond Cobb; her siblings, Barbara Cobb, John and Bud Cobb; and her sons-in-law, Joe Grubbs and Joey Anderson.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Nichols Briggs; her children, Donna Briggs Anderson Grubbs of Leasburg, NC and Nick Briggs, Jr. (Tammy) of Goode, VA; her grandchildren, Joseph Grubbs, Jr., Joshua Grubbs, Mary-Hannah Grubbs, Allison Briggs Hartnett (Bryan) of Rebekah Briggs, J. D. and Trey Briggs (Julie); her great grandchildren, Peyton Grubbs, Brantley Grubbs, Jaxon Grubbs, Valentina Grubbs, Adam Hartnett, Ellis Hartnett and Zoe Hartnett; and her sister Evelyn Oakley (Hassell) of Leasburg, NC..
