With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Wesley Medlin of Youngsville, North Carolina, who passed away on July 7, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Charles Wesley farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Charles Wesley is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry Medlin and Amie Griffin Medlin; and his brother Larry Douglas Medlin. He is survived by: his sisters, Irene Medlin Dillard (Norman) of Wake Forest, Phyllis Medlin Dickerson of Franklinton, Marie Medlin Young (Mike) of Louisburg and Connie Medlin Arnold (Donald Ray) of Louisburg; and his sister-in-law Donna Medlin of Youngsville. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Peach Tree Baptist Church Cemetery (3523 NC-581, Spring Hope, NC 27582).
