She was predeceased by : her husband Carl Poole; her son Carl Poole, Jr.; her grandson Robert Poole; her great grandchild Jaetyn Hester; her granddaughter Dana Tipton Cavalcante; her siblings, Alice Smith, Dorothy Howell, Ethel Francis, Sadie Phipps, Adna Johnson and Henry Cary Howell; her daughter-in-law Connie Poole; and her nieces, Jewel Kunnert and Jackie Nance.

She is survived by : her children, Linda Poole Ablecop, Michael Poole (Cindy) and David Poole (Amy); and her grandchildren, Angela Champion, Timothy Poole, Barry Byrd, Blair Poole, Brooke Baker, Mary Welch, Tracy Gauthier, Sabrina Carpenter, Brenda Poole and Jessica Ablecop. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren.
