He was predeceased by : his parents, Audrey Pippin Mitchell and Joseph Wilson "Billy" Mitchell; his brother Jackie Wilson Mitchell, Sr.; and his granddaughter Josephine Justine Mitchell. He is survived by : his children, Ronnie Mitchell (Cara) of Charlotte, NC and Laura Evans (Ralph) of Cary, NC; and his grandchildren, Benjamin Tyler Evans, Audrey Elizabeth Evans, Alyssa Nicole Evans and Margaret Pippin Mitchell.
