She was predeceased by : her parents, William Denton and Louise Denton; her brothers, William "Buddy" Denton and Harvey Denton (Edna); her children, Donna Lee Pittman and Johnny Morris; her sister-in-law Maxine Porter; and her grandson Mark Hanson.
She is survived by : her husband John Nelson Morris; her children, Shelia Pittman (Greg) of Spring Hope, Jennifer House (Derek) of Wake Forest, Rhonda Alderman (Jake) of Wake Forest, Tonya Morris, Kim Hanson (Mark) and Tom Morris; her sister Debbie Pearce of Zebulon; her siblings-in-law, Ed Porter (Barb) and Marie Denton; and her uncle Danny Jones (Brenda). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.
