He is survived by: his wife Mildred Oliver Tippett; his children, Lloyd Tippett, Jr. (Reba) of Blounts Creek, Debbie Hockaday (Ray) of Sanford, Libby Cox (Skeet) of Louisburg and Tracy Latta (Chris) of Holden Beach; and his grandchildren, Blake Hockaday (Valerie), Bramley Reynolds (Wes), Megan Lively (Vincent), Maria Allen (David), Bradd Nichols (Candace), Joshua Tippett (Taylor), Daniel Tippett, Brian Wichard, Dean Wichard and Samuel Latta.
