She is survived by: her daughters, Lynne Britton (Tim) and Leigh Johnson; her grandchildren, Tyler Britton of Zebulon, Crystal Britton of Zebulon, Jan Johnson of Zebulon and Jared Johnson of Zebulon; her sister Evelyn Ellis of Kenly; and her daughter Barbara "Babs" Simmons.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Thanksgiving Baptist Church, 6701 NC 42 E, Selma, NC 27576.
