He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Johnson and Mabel Johnson; his wife Joyce B. Johnson; and his brothers, Thomas G. Johnson (Velma) and Lonnie B. Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Eatmon (Donnie) and Ben Johnson Jr. (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Shelley Timberlake (Rob), Kim Darr (Justin), Kristi Petit and Thomas Johnson (Jesse); his great grandchildren, Carley, Mason, Grayson, Hailey, Avenlei, Breighan, Vivian, Liam and Will; and his sister Sue Narron.
