He was predeceased by: his siblings, Johnny Perry, Maryann Deans, Nancy King, Dean Brantley and Betty Jones; his aunts, Ruth Carroll and Madeline Richards; and his uncle B. W. Neville.

He is survived by: his aunt Dorothy Neville of Rolesville. He is also survived by nieces & nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hopkins Chapel Baptist Church Building Fund or to the SPCA of Wake County.
