He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter B. Brantley and Lessie Brantley; his wife Janet Massey Brantley; and his siblings, Reba Cone, Phoebe Baines, Dewey Brantley, Wallace Brantley, Lloyd, Clefford, Lendo Brantley and Reca Pearce.
He is survived by: his children, Karen B. Murphy (Ronald) of Zebulon and Dexter Brantley; and his granddaughter Aimee Murphy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
