She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Lee West and Hazel Ray West; her son Ricky Goodwin; and her siblings, Linda Mae, Ann, James, Charlie Boy and Lonnie (Connie).
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Smoak (John), Carl Goodwin (Catherine), Charles Goodwin and James Goodwin; her sister Shirley Haywood; and her cousin Marvin Kirby West. She is also survived by six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tabernacle Baptist Church.
