He is survived by: his parents, Dennis Earl Thigpen, Sr. and Bettie Farmer Thigpen; his wife Priscilla Battle Thigpen; his children, Aaron Johnson of Pinetops, NC, Dashon Thigpen of Zebulon, NC, Treqnon Thigpen of Zebulon, NC, Julius Harvey of South Carolina, John Battle of Durham, NC and Deausyia Thigpen of Zebulon, NC; and his siblings, Sylvester Telfair of Rocky Mount, NC, Reggie Thigpen of Raleigh, NC, Steven Jones of Pinetops, NC, Wanda Randolph of Pinetops, NC, Cheryl Thigpen of Pinetops, NC, Bettina Randolph of Pinetops, NC, Shaquanta Jenkins of Pinetops, NC and Shalissa Foreman of Pinetops, NC. He is also survived by three grandchildren, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
