She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Dunn and Bertie Stanley Dunn; and her siblings, Ralph Dunn, Everette Dunn, Rudolph Dunn and Millie Stanley.

She is survived by: her son Walter Gordon (Linda) of Selma; her siblings, Matthew Dunn (Norma) of High Point and Elgie Norris of Four Oaks; her granddaughters, Jennifer Long (David) and Mary Beth Simmons (Daniel); and her great grandchildren, Lydia Long, Zane Long, Maura Simmons, Flannery Simmons and Maeve Simmons.
