She is survived by: her son Mark Whitley (Teresa); her granddaughter Kristy Adams (Jeremy); her great grandchild Kamdyn; and her siblings, Barbara Carlyle of Zebulon, Pauline Carroll of Zebulon, Patsy Creech (Wayne) of Zebulon and Tommy Hagwood of Raleigh. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
