It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Bryant Lafater of Zebulon, North Carolina, who passed away on September 20, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his children, Collins Lafater and Frank Spencer; his parents, Bill Lafater and Maxine Strickland Lafater; and his siblings, Susan Lafater, Frances Watters and Wayne Lafater.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Etheridge Lafater; his sons, Rick Spencer and Allen Lafater; his granddaughter Amanda Spencer; his great grandchild Gabrielle; and his sister Bonnie Aiken.
