He was predeceased by: his sister Royline Johnson. He is survived by: his sons, Ronald Scott Johnson (Sherry) of Greenville and Jason Shawn Johnson of Zebulon; his granddaughter Ava Scott Johnson; and his siblings, Donald Johnson (Myra) of Garner and Patricia Anne Thaxton (Howard) of Burlington.
