He was predeceased by: his sisters, Marie Gay and Katie Avery; and his nephews, Spencer Gay and Timothy Avery. He is survived by: his spouse Betty C. Strickland; his daughter Sandra S. Frick; his brother Jimmy Strickland (Barbara); and his nieces, Kim Sellers, Tracey Gay and Michele Avery.
