It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Belle Campbell Lawrence (Zionville, North Carolina), who passed away on October 5, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Raymond Kaskie Campbell and Addie Muriel Horton Campbell; her husband Clayton Lloyd Lawrence; and her siblings, Katherine Campbell, Gladys Adams, Tommy, Willard and David "Red" Campbell.
She is survived by : her daughters, Willa Jean Sluder (Larry) of Mountain City, Tennessee, Hilda Sue Matheson (Ronald) of Mountain City and Diane Wood (Marty) of Zionville; her siblings, Blaine Campbell (Jean) of Sugar Grove, Dorothy Yates (Henry) of Boone, Nellie Mitchell (Billy "Buddy") of Zionville and Sarah "Frankie" Miller (Jim) of Zionville; her grandchildren, Jeff Beach (Breanne) of Zionville, Chad Matheson (Amanda) of Boone and Deray Wood of Blowing Rock; her great grandchildren, Julie Matheson, Katie Matheson, Presli Wood and Abel Wood; her sister-in-law Joan Campbell of Zionville; and also David Lunceford. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
