Betty Sackman Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Sackman (Bismarck, North Dakota), who passed away on August 4, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband John Sackman; her parents, Stanley Harrington and Margaret Harrington (Dehne); her stepfather Joseph Scheer; her siblings, Earl Harrington (Beulah) and Arlene Wolf; and her son-in-law Mike Glanville.

She is survived by: her children, John Sackman (Sibley Lake), Patricia Hertz (Roger) of Papillion, NE, Monica Glanville of Bismarck, ND and Margo Michel (Lonny) of Jamestown, ND; her grandchildren, John Sackman III of Bismarck, ND, Justin Sackman (Nikki) of Bismarck, ND, Josh Smithman (Dan) of Henderson, NV, Jason Hertz (Colleen) of Council Bluffs, IA, Jennifer Buhl (Jeremy) of Papillion, NE, Marc Glanville (Jodi) of West Fargo, ND, Matthew Glanville of Bismarck, ND and Luke Michel of Jamestown, ND; her stepgrandsons, Casey Michel of Jamestown, ND and Dustin Michel (Brook); her great grandchildren, Abbe, John IV, Seth Sackman, Skyler Hertz (Loren), Darby Hertz, Christian Buhl, Alex, Patrick, William Jones, Michael, Gracie, Austin, Ethan, Ella Glanville, Miley, Kailynn, Maverick, Mason and Grace Michel; her great great grandchild Hudson Hertz; and her brother-in-law Clarence Wolf. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
