He was predeceased by: his father Art Feland; his brother-in-law Warren Hoovestol; and his aunt Mabel Feland Ferguson. He is survived by: his mother Marie Feland (Cronin); his spouse Shannon Larsen; his children, Brita Feland and Clay Feland; his siblings, Carol Hoovestol, Joan Hoovestol (Roger) and Tim Feland of Maricopa, AZ; his nieces and nephews, Kay Pexa (Jim), Kim Leingang (Brandon), Scott Hoovestol (Kendra), Russell Hoovestol (Laura), Randy Hoovestol (Michelle) and Ryan Hoovestol (Kama); and his godmother Janet Feland Hanson. He is also survived by 13 great nieces and nephews.
Cal worked for the Morton County Law Enforcement Center for 18 years and was currently working for the Dacotah Foundation.
