She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Neigum and Katherine Neigum (Feist); her husband Steve Schmidt; her sons, Sebastian and Randy; her son-in-law Aaron Vedquam; her granddaughter Danyle Ellwein; and her siblings, Joseph, Frank, Pete, John, Alex, Phyllis, Maggie, Rose, Caroline and Agnes.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Schmidt (Debi), Sharon Schmidt (Jake Sauter), Sandy Doffee (Alan), Sheila Diede (Jeff), Ronald Schmidt and Steph Mittlestadt (Shawn); her grandchildren, April Schmitt (Jason), Nathan Ellwein (Tara), Amy Collins (Matt), Kolby Webb (Tyson), Amanda Fettig (John), Logan Vedquam and Max Vedquam; her great grandchildren, Brandee Timpe (Jace), Brooke Schmitt (Kaden Seidel), Adriana Ellwein, Brody Collins, Brevyn Collins and Jeston Webb; her sisters, Anna Schmidt of Seattle, WA, Liz Keller of Seattle, WA and Francis Gustafson (Juel) of Seattle, WA; and her parents-in-law, Theresia Neigum, Leota Neigum, Carol Neigum, Andy Schmidt (Joan), Pete Schmidt (Marie) of Seattle, WA, Rita Schmidt and Phyllis Schmidt. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
