He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Bentz and Amanda Bentz (Wagner); and his sister Marjorie. He is survived by: his wife Margaret (Schon Madsen); his stepsons, Jim Schon of Lisbon, ND and Troy Schon (Deb); his brother Bill Bentz of Dickinson, ND; his grandchildren, Kim (Dustin), Courtney (Lucas), Nicholas (Lacey), Samantha (Mat), Alexander and Joseph; and his great grandchildren, Alexis, Zander, Hudson, Jack and Jaxsyn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
