She was predeceased by: her mother Ella Hegre (Oberg). She is survived by: her father Roger Hegre of Lemmon, SD; her son-in-law Scott; her pets, Brutus, Rascal and Tucker; her husband Jeff of Bismarck, ND; her daughters, Amber Kurtz of Bismarck, ND, Amy Johs (Scott) of Bismarck, ND and Sara Kurtz of Bismarck, ND; her siblings, RoAnn Adams (Mike) of Leawood, KS and Randy Hegre (Linda Swenson) of Amery, WI; her mother-in-law Sharon Kurtz of Alice, ND; her sisters-in-law, Donna Roths (John) and Sue Spadino (Jon) of Shakopee, MN; her daughter Cara; her father-in-law Howard Kurtz; and her friend Doug Zimmerman. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
