It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clarence C. J. Schmidt of Bismarck, North Dakota, born in Napoleon, North Dakota, who passed away on September 10, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph G and Margaret Schmidt (Richter); his siblings, Melvin and Louella; and his sisters-in-law, Kathy Schmidt and LaVerne Schmidt.
He is survived by: his wife Rosie; his children, Janice Hokenstad (Carl), Debra Chuppe (Steven), Kerry Uhrich (Melvin) and TJ Schmidt (Darcy); his great grandchildren, Lukas, Britta, Emma Hokenstad, Hildy, Lena McKeone, Stanley, Mira, Steven and Sienna Mack; his siblings, Julius, Leo, LouAnn Tsujihara (Glen) and Diane Grotewold (Keith); and his sister-in-law Quirina Schmidt. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren.
